The Journey

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

(Pictured above is my older "Killin' 'Em" t-shirt design version) Happy Friday the 13th! Like Jason Voorhees, my sold out "Killin' 'Em" design will be making a return. I've learned a few things as far as design goes since I created this piece a few years back and felt that I could make some improvements to the overall visual aesthetic of the design. I'll be debuting the new version along with some other new designs of mine at Wicker Park Fest coming up this July 27, 28, 29. If you're available, be sure to stop by! I'm excited to bring it...

Custom Design for a Professional Athlete

Custom Design for a Professional Athlete

This past Labor Day weekend was pretty crazy to say the least. A friend reached out to me on Wednesday asking if I could fulfill a custom tank design order for him and his friends in only 2 days to be worn for Saturday of the AVP beach volleyball tournament at Oak St Beach (most businesses need about 1-2 weeks to fulfill such an order). This tank design would be created in support of his friend he went to college with. His friend is 6'8" professional beach volleyball player Stafford Slick. The Godfather of House Music

The Godfather of House Music

With the electronic dance music scene still popular (reaching a $7+ billion dollar valuation) and countless music festivals (some with an average attendance of 200,000+) still growing to this day, it's hard to not come across House Music. Meeting Lana Wachowski

Meeting Lana Wachowski

On Christmas Eve, I rolled out of bed in the morning to grab a few things at the store and was lucky enough to meet Chicago native, film/TV director, screenwriter, producer, comic book writer and publisher, Lana Wachowski. She is one of the creative minds behind The Matrix, Sense 8, and V for Vendetta just to name a few. Living in Chicago my entire life, you don't really get to see famous people ever. I was very fortunate to bump into and exchange a few words with a creative genius. I hope to one day produce work that can impact the world like...

My Inspiration

My Inspiration

Alfred Hitchcock My lil Alfred Hitchcock bobble head sits on the corner of my desk to remind me to always aim for excellence with every design I create. He's one of my all time favorite artists that has contributed so much to film and has maintained such a high level of consistency with respect to quality throughout his entire career.  Almost every shot in his films can be broken down and analyzed to uncover a treasure trove of elements that contribute to cinematic genius. This is even more impressive when you consider how limited technology was during his era. His passion,...
