I wanted to try something a bit different and used a gold print for my "Chicago Volleyball" design on a red hoodie. I love the way it came out and definitely want to continue to use this gold print on some of my future designs.

Andersonville Midsommarfest 2019

Andersonville Midsommarfest 2019

I was a vendor at Andersonville Midsommarfest this past weekend selling my custom Chicago themed apparel and can't believe I never participated in this event before. I sold a lot of my designs and received so many positive compliments. I can't describe how good it makes me feel when I hear comments like, "I think you have the best designs here." This tank design would be created in support of his friend he went to college with. His friend is 6'8" professional beach volleyball player Stafford Slick. After hearing what the design request was, I knew it would be...

The Godfather of House Music

The Godfather of House Music

With the electronic dance music scene still popular (reaching a $7+ billion dollar valuation) and countless music festivals (some with an average attendance of 200,000+) still growing to this day, it's hard to not come across House Music. As popular as it is, not many people know where and who started it. This genre all started here in Chicago in the early 80's at a club called the Warehouse and the man who helped start it all was the late Frankie Knuckles. The Warehouse would help create the House Music movement that would later reach the entire world. The genre became so...
